I was a little sceptical about spending the hard earned money, for a small speaker system. Hey, when I connected with bluetooth, I was floored. The amazing sound that comes from this speaker, will wrap itself around you, and fill the room with crisp highs and flutter less deep booming bass. This Samsung speaker has won me over. When I have company at the house, they can't believe what they're ear are hearing, from my Samsung speaker system. 10, no 11 star rating.

Been using it outdoors while sitting around a fire pit, in the garage during a workout session, listen to music while doing some house hold chores & watch TV with kids. Liked it ! I like that we can connect multiple devices to stream music & connect multiple such speakers to form a speaker group. One thing I not too impressed is that I have to manually connect to a device (bluetooth) every-time I turn off & on the system. Not too big of a deal for me personally, but is slightly inconvenient. Hope Samsung will address this.

I purchased this to use as an outdoor speaker and so far, it provides incredible sound quality for outdoor use, satisfying my needs. It also stands out of the way but still providing full sound across my entire backyard patio. The light features are also fun!
My one request would be if it had native support for music services like Spotify so I don't have to use my phone for controlling it.

So I am a music fanatic and I've been looking for a wireless speaker that actually sounded good. I am a true believer that wired speakers sound the best. Well I got the Samsung T40 speaker thinking it would sound like the other no bass all treble Bluetooth speakers. Well I am impressed with the volume it goes to and the sound quality. It has just enough bass. And it has options to hook up wired. I am glad I got this.! It has group connect were you and another Bluetooth can connect @ the same time plus you can pair up with other speakers as WELL! Totally loving this

This speaker like it's biggie siblings packs a punch, It sounds great even for it's size. If you're l looking for a Bluetooth speaker from a reputable brand that has extras like karaoke (mic not included) and disco lights then this is the one. Of the 3 sizes I am aware of this makes the most sense for me in my NYC apartment. I can connect from my smartphone via Bluetooth or wired. If I have music on a flash drive I can even do that. Quality clear sound, options for playing, and extras.

Finally had an opportunity to test this out, boy am I glad I did. No one was using it at the time, so I quickly and painlessly connected my phone via Bluetooth and started pumping out some real music. The high-power, bi-directional speakers were loud and clear and delivered powerful stereo sounds, with little distortion, even at extremely high volumes. The excellent design fits in quite well with the decor in our home
Bass boost was kicking and there were different lighting modes to fit my mood. I was sad when everyone else got home as I had to relinquish my connection to the rightful owner of the Samsung T40 Sound Tower. I would definitely recommend this. If we had the space, I would totally buy one for my own exclusive use and so I could connect and sync them for even more volume.

The Samsung T40 Sound Tower is pretty amazing straight out of the box. It was packaged nice and secure, but easy to unpack and setup. The tower itself looks spectacular. Definitely fits in at the party with the different light modes. We connected it to our TV the first night, just to try it out. I really didn't want to move it! I like that you are able to change the sound on the tower to adjust for spoken words vs songs with lots of bass. We really put it to the test this past holiday weekend. The tower bounced around to everyone's phone at the party that wanted to play music. It is very easy to connect the Bluetooth to different devices by just using the remote. The sound quality is amazing! We had several people inquiring about it. Perfect addition for the lake crowd.

I really love the design and sound of this tower. I love the different party lights options of ambient, thunderstorm and others and music options of party, EDM, Reggae, etc. I have paired with multiple devices via Bluetooth and the sound is excellent. The remote has DJ and effects as well as USB & AUX controls and a sleek design. Definitely big sound from a compact speaker looking forward to using at family gatherings, watching movies and gaming.

I could not be more surprised if this was a unit 5Xs the cost . Out of the box it was quick and easy to set up . It connected to Bluetooth effortlessly . The best part , sound was AMAZING! All the highs and Lows were crystal clear . Bass was just the perfect amount . Tons of volume for cranking it up . Kids enjoyed the lights changing colors and we all got a kick out of the different settings to make your own DJ sound mixes .
The directional speaker allows for clear sound anywhere in the room that you happen to be . I have not tried it yet but looking forward to using the linking Bluetooth speaker option to add more speakers to make the sound even more impressive ! Multiple can be done together at the same time .
I would highly recommend this speaker to anyone especially someone looking to get a lot of sound and not take up a lot of space . Samsung has a clear winner with this one .

Got the Samsung T40 Speaker for when we have company over and when working in the garage. The speaker is small enough that you can tuck it out of the way and powerful enough that you can hear the music. Connecting to it was easy to do and there is a message center on the top of the speaker that tells you what is happening. This takes out a lot of the guess work when connecting the devices. Aside from the Bluetooth connectivity there are other options for connecting audio inputs on the back. This makes the speaker very versatile and opens a lot of possibilities for connecting all kinds of devices to it. The sound that it creates is clear and can get loud, the bass is not obnoxious but is balanced to the other speakers that are built in. You can even turn on the bass boost if you want to add a little more punch. The design of the speaker is very thoughtful and leaves you room for expansion with its group play feature. This allows you to have more than one of the speakers connected to each other and play the same music on both speakers. The T40 is a good value for all the functionality, compatibility, and expandability that it offers. I am glad I got one.

I received the Samsung T40 Sound Tower, and am in love. I purchased it as I love to sit outside in my hot tub and I needed something I could listen to music through that is solid and portable. The Samsung T40 Sound Tower is that, plus the sound quality is amazing, the lights are phenomenal, and it is so easy to use for all ages!! My kids are trying to fight me for it, so that says A LOT!! Even my pets are intrigued by the lights and clear sound!
Since we have been using this more, the speakers really put out the bass sound like nothing else I have ever experienced. The remote capabilities enable this to be used inside as well as outside from a distance and they are extremely easy to use, especially for someone with joint issues such as myself.

Great speaker. Upon opening the box I was amazed by the look and design of the speaker. The speakers are placed and the sides to insure equal sound distribution. This might have been a Great idea. The control buttons are conveniently place on top. I thought that this would be a wireless speaker but I learned that it was not. Rgere was a power cord that can be attached and detached. It also comes with a handy dandy remote control for changing the sound control and volume. Setting up was easy.. pairing with our phones was a breeze as well. I messed with the different dj like sounds. Pretty cool to have once you've mastered it. Not heavy and easy to carry around. The sound isn't as loud as I would have preferred. Better sound indoors in my opinion.
The sound is crisp and clean. My only issue is that I expected a much louder sound. I really thought it packed a punch at 300 watts but no.

The T40 tower is a nice little speaker for my townhouse. It doesn't get too loud, which is probably good for where I live. I have to crank it all the way up to really feel the sound. I do enjoy the bidirectional sound...pretty good coming from a single speaker unit. I like the fact that you can change the lighting from ambient to matching the beat of the song. I have had some issues with bluetooth; it seems to be a bit touchy with it. I've done some troubleshooting and it still drops every once in a while if I mess with my phone too much.
I have also connected the speaker to my PC to add some better sound on music and streaming. It is nice and light and easy to transfer throughout the house. I've even used it in the garage for a BBQ. Was great for entertaining guests. Can't wait to do some karaoke with my kids.
I've played various types of music and the sound is great with anything you play. Bass boost makes a big difference in overall sound. This has also been great for gatherings and hanging out in my yard. A great find!

Let's start off with what you should do as soon as you get the speaker unboxed. Do yourself a favor and look up Samsung's support page for the T40. Download the firmware update onto a USB drive and plug the drive into the speaker. Let the update apply, the display shows the progress, when finished remove the drive and download the Bluetooth stack update. Plug the drive in, let the update apply, and your ready to rock. The bluetooth update in particular seemed to improve the performance of the speaker, gave it better bluetooth range.
Now that you are up and running, start streaming your content to the speaker using a phone, tablet, whatever bluetooth capable device you have and listen to your chosen media. Use the included remote to make adjustments to the sound profile as you see fit and crank it up. The speaker can get loud, very loud, indoors it can blast you out of a room. That is a good thing though, plenty or volume for whatever activity you choose, indoors or out.
My kids love taking the T40 out by the pool so they can listen to music or podcasts while splashing the summer away. At night they love adjusting the lighting profile from ambient to wild dance party type light patterns. They also enjoy the included DJ functions which allow them to apply a few included sound changing patterns to their music.
The speaker is big, and weighs a decent amount, but the included carry handle makes moving the T40 around easy. We sometimes have it in a bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, the garage, outside, it goes all over the place.
The T40 is easy to use. Today's kids are so surrounded by tech, my kids never even read the instructions, they just knew how to use it.
There are plenty of options for getting your material to the speaker. Bluetooth, USB drive, or direct connection. We have used them all and they all work, it's just easy.
My family loves this speaker, yours will too, give it a shot. You will be happy you did.

The T40 has a beautiful design and lights to match your ambiance or event. It has different modes such as ambient, party, etc.. where the lights will flow with the event or mode. IT has a great sound quality and I love the fact you can daisy chain more than one speaker. The bi-directional speakers deliver powerful yet clean stereo sound. It has the 2.0.2 channel rear amplifier, pairing, and setup were very easy, and it has a USB plug as well, not to mention its mountable. One of my favorite features is the Wireless Bluetooth was easy to connect and it allows you to sync with multiple Sound Towers for a group audio/party event. This device definitely makes my gathering events and karaoke night a blast.

For a fairly small sized high-powered speaker, it packs quite a punch. Was doing a volume test with the bi-directional speaker (almost made it to 50), and my son came out of his room to tell me to turn it down. It definitely delivers extremely powerful stereo sounds. The whole room fills with sound, almost like I am standing inside the music. I will most definitely be getting quite a bit of use out of this.
With the wireless Bluetooth, it quickly and seamlessly paired with my phone and sounded really good. Very easy to connect. Lights are a nice fun touch. Great for that party experience. Remote can do pretty much everything without having to touch the unit.
Wish I had more than one so I could connect and sync multiple sound towers for a group audio experience.

Seriously! This takes me back to the receiver days! When you can mix the sound up a bit! There are several different sounds you can use to get the right sound you're looking for! Then take your amazing sound and add extra bass!!! Then you add in the groovy lights that mix up with the sound. You can change the lights as well to go with the beat, ambient or disco out!! Super cool! The 300 watts makes this sucker great for our outdoor parties we have with all the teenagers around. A few phones can hook up to this system and the kids go be their own DJs and if you add in a parent the playlist gets even better!! This is definitely going to add some more fun to our vibe indoors and out!! It's a must have!
