Samsung Wrecked This Phone

Samsung put out an Android update for the Note 4 a little over a year ago. It destroyed the Note 4. Constant boot loop. Samsung refuses to acknowledge the issue and fix the Android build. Decent phone until the Android update debacle. If you buy a Note 4, make sure it does NOT have Android 6.0.1 on it. If it does, count on owning a dud.

Currently I am grieving the loss of my galaxy note 4. I had my note 4 for over 3 years. I purchased it in October of 2013 and this week I started having problems with it. Prior to this, I had absolutely no issues with my phone the entire time that I have had it. I was recently bragging about how long I had my phone and how it has functioned excellently. Welp, starting this week, my phone started powering off and on all on its on. I knew it wasn't the battery because I have 3 different backup batteries and none of them made a difference. I took it to Sprint this week and the service tech did a hard reset and even that didn't fix the problem. Sadly, it seems that my phone just gave up after all these years. I have purchased a galaxy note 5 today from Sprint and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new phone. I pray that it measures up to the performance of the note 4. That phone never let me down. Samsung, you guys did a fantastic job with the note 4. The note 5 has some big shoes to fill.

This phone met at all my expectations. great camera, very good audio, streaming video looked good. Most of all I used my stylus quite a bit on the go and it served me well working with certain apps. Unfortunately the phone started acting up in Sept 2016. Battery was draining fast, phone started shutting off on its own. I did all that I could do to freed up memory space, running current updates, do factory resets, etc. Even purchased a brand new battery. Within a week of having the new battery my phone simply stopped working. No charge and no power. This phone was dead and I purchased it brand new almost 2 years ago in Dec 2014, not working as of Oct 2016. I had an old Galaxy Note 2 which I turned back on for cell service until my recent purchase of the Galaxy s7. Really miss my note though :-(

Very tough, unbreakable even if trying to break it to have a reason to buy the note 7 (which is no longer an option) note 4 is just amazing. I spend hours drawing, watching videos, taking photos by far the longest i have own a galaxy phone. I thought the size was going to be a bad thing but with a flip case i don't even notice it sometimes. I remember starting with the Galaxy S, then i tried HTC but returned to Samsung with the S3,S4,S5,Note 3, Note 4 and also the pink S7 for the wife. But that's not all we also own Samsung tab S2, gear Fit, Gear neo, gear S2, Stove, Fridge, Microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer.

As much as I love this phone, it does freeze up and i have to clear the background data every now and again. But I believe that you all knew of this problem due tothe fact. The option button at the bottom left is strictly to clear the Ram, or background running data. But other than this it's a great phone. Battery life is good, camera is great, options for the use of the IR. With the remote options is nice. The stylist pen is great, with quick apps that pop out blurring the background is cool when you pull the pen. Overall it is a nice quality phone, Size , pixelation, sound, just all the details that went into this phone is great. I would recommend this product.

I love the bright display, vivid colors, and how well it stands up to wear and tear, It has amazing speakers I don't like the pre-installed apps. Too many and you can't delete them. I invested in a Note 4 for the bigger size because I needed it for my failing vision. I previously had an S3 and I loved it. I don't use the S Pen much butmy husband swears by it. Having an SD Micro was a life saver when I started having problems so I could back up all my data. Sprint service was great, I received a refurbished Note 4 and it is working great. I love my Android phone and all of the capabilities. S Health is great at getting me moving.

This is a great phone, does what I need it to do. The only two bad things are the USB port which seems to go bad since it is used often, and the second thing is the battery, since the phone has a fast charging which is good and I like but it shortens the life span of the battery, so far I had to buy a new one after a year and a half of owning it.

The Galaxy Note 4 is excellent! Great for expanded micro SD chip. Good for international travel. Good for getting signatures on transactions on a large screen. Bright screen when needed in the sun. I did have to turn in the phone to Samsung for repair. Don't quite understand why the screen and other components failed with general use, never dropped the phone and it was in a protective case. Maybe just bad luck. I would definitely recommend the phone to a friend.

Overall the Samsung Note 4 is a great phone. The AMOLED display coupled with the design of the phone is just beautiful. I almost didn't want to put a phone case on it. The Note 4 showcases the latest Android OS and very easy to use. Updates come regularly. The rear camera is phenomenal and the front camera also does well with selfies and such. Battery life is sufficient for everyday use. Samsung did a good job with this one. I can't wait for the Note 6.

I love this phone, Huge screen so helpful with my bad eyesight, textured case which looks good, feels good and adds grip and so thin and light! I utilized ALL the functions on this phone and more, used it for taking and editing business shots, recording classes, social activity etc etc. The only downside was all the Sprint stuff on there and the Sprint contract stuff. Cant get rid of sprint or its proprietary software that I never use and the contracts are a nightnare

I've had this phone for a bit over a year, moving from a Galaxy S5. I wanted the bigger screen and sharper picture that the upgrade offered. It delivers. It easily fits into the pocket of my purses (that cloth brand that is famous for pockets) and the padding provides the safety I want for the phone. My husband and I both got these (he had a Note 3 first) and when we changed carriers, upgrading was part of the switch. We considered the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, but he wanted to stick with a Note, and I had always envied his, so we both went with the Note 4 - different colors of course. I don't think I'd like one much bigger for a phone or it will feel like my small notebook. With the size I feel like I have a good grasp on it without having to grip too tight and cause issues. This phone, for me, is perfect.
